We will select an amazing ride route in your municipality.
When is the event?
We have selected dates across Canada between July and September 2025. To find a ride near you, Check out our locations.
How much is the fee for teams to participate?

How many people can participate?
Up to 29 riders per bike.
How far do we ride?
It varies by location and route, but generally about 3km.
How long is the event?
The ride itself typically takes 20-30 minutes. Each team should arrive 15-30 minutes before their scheduled ride time to ensure that all waivers are signed, prepare for warm-ups and have a team photo taken. Some teams plan post-event activities, typically at the host restaurant/bar.
Where do we park?
Teams will receive an event day package with detailed instructions including the precise location of where to park and meet your team.
Do participants need to be physically fit to participate?
The bike is similar to pedaling a traditional bike for 20-30 minutes! You can make it a workout, or let others do the work. While the bike is pedal powered, it’s not overly strenuous. Please be aware that you do need to be able to climb onto the bike unaided.
What do we wear?
We recommend wearing comfortable athleisure clothing and sneakers.
What happens if there is bad weather?
We ride in rain, wind, and even snow! But if there’s lightning or other dangerous weather, the event can be rescheduled or canceled. In the unlikely event that this happens to your event, a representative from Breast Cancer Canada will coordinate directly with your team captain.
Is this safe?
The MEGABike has multiple protocols in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
What if we need to cancel?
All sponsorships and donations are final and non-refundable. Should there be an event cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances out of the organizer’s control, Breast Cancer Canada will convert the sponsorship to a donation. Donations are tax-deductible and non-refundable. Thank you for supporting progress through research.
